P8 is a simulation model which attempts to define a future condition. While the program may serve a useful purpose in planning or design, there are many limitations inherent in predictive modeling. The developer of the model, William W. Walker, Jr., and the supporting agencies will not be held responsible for failure of any of the model's predictions to materialize. The developers make no warranties, express or implied, that the program is free of error, is consistent with any particular standard, or is consistent with requirements for any particular application. The model should not be relied on for solving a problem whose incorrect solution could result in injury to a person or loss of property. The model is not intended for use in flood-control planning. The developers disclaim all liability for direct or consequential damages resulting from use of the program.
