After a traced simulation is complete ( Run Model Traced ), the 'Chart' menu item will generate a panel of hourly or daily time series plots for the inflows and outflows. The screen buttons allow moving through the time series one interval at a time or displaying the entire series. Variables include flow, load, concentration, rainfall, snowmelt, device elevation, & device volume. Hourly time series plots are grouped by storm events. Daily time series plots are grouped by month.
The vertical scales can be constrained so that they are equal for the inflows and outflows to demonstrate the performance of the device. The tails of the events can be clipped for a specified number of hours. This allows focus on the earlier portions of the event, when the dynamics are often more interesting.
A minimum precipitation (actually rainfall + snowmelt) can be specified for selecting events to be plotted. i.e. if a value of 1.0 is selected, then only storms (or months) with at least 1 inch of rainfall+snowmelt will be displayed as you cycle through the events with the first, next, previous, last buttons. The 'Show All Storms' button does not screen for storm size.
One water quality component is selected for display. The 5 individual particle fractions are automatically displayed in a stacked format the illustrates the differences in dynamics across the particle fractions.
Hourly output is restricted to about 4 years. Daily output is restricted to about 100 years.
Tables of underlying time series (precipitation, inflows, outflows) can be saved in the standard output workbook via the List Time Series procedures
